COMPANY UPDATE
We were busy serving the industry! TengoInternet attended the Glamping Summit in Aurora, CO, ARVC Outdoor Hospitality Conference and Expo (OHCE) in Knoxville, TN; the KOA Expo in Savannah, GA and the Ruckus Big Dog conference last week. At KOA and OHCE, we spoke with over 250 customers and operators, presented “Technology of the Future” at the OHCE to 100+ attendees and delivered our 4th Annual State Of The Industry (SOTI) report.
If you are building a new park or improving your park, the Technology of the Future presentation is a great reference guide. The SOTI report is available as well and will be featured in the December issue of Woodalls Campground Management.
SOLUTION UPDATE
The solution I recommend reviewing is fiber-to-the-pedestal or fiber-to-the-hub for new construction and improvements. Building this type of infrastructure allows you support WiFi, pedestal internet, TV/Over-the-Top and property operations – it increases your asset and return. We are currently supporting three of these park of the future projects. Additionally, we partnered with both DirectTV and DishTV resellers to support customer needs. Call or email if we can help you. Another anniversary: 2019 was the 5th anniversary of the first campground to cut the cord on cable – Caroline Strong cut her bulk cable and invested in super fast internet in Dec 2014.
