Why is ISP important?
Let’s break it down! Pretend bandwidth is a pie, any deliciously irresistible pie you like. That delicious pie is the ISP. It is essential to have enough pie to satisfy all of you guests. Some guests will want more pie, some less. To deliver more to some and less to others, one must limit the pieces of pie each guest gets. By controlling how many pieces, each guest gets you can prevent one guest from eating all the pie! Thus, ensuring their is enough pie to go around for all you guests. Pssst… pie is a metaphor for internet access.

How this relates to your WiFi network?
Having enough bandwidth allows for you the ensure all you guests get fair access to the internet. For instance, if you want your guests to be able to stream you will need to allocate 5Mbps to each end user and for standard web browsing 3Mbps is recommended for each end user. When delivering excellent WiFi, it is paramount to meet guest expectations, by setting the proper limits and speeds you can just that, ensuring happy guests that will come back time and time again.

Bandwidth shaping (a service we offer) allow’s us to ensure each guest get’s the speed they require to meet their expectations. This prevents a few from using all the data.
